PLEASE NOTE: MROC 4x4 Response can only respond to calls from statutory or voluntary agencies. We do not respond directly to calls from members of the public. MROC 4x4 Response is a totally voluntary service. However, it is reasonable for them to claim fuel expenses incurred when acting in support of the Local Authorities. Fuel costs are likely to be higher when driving through snow or floodwater and it is expected that they will be reimbursed the full cost of the fuel they use in a given emergency.
Our Aims:
To sustain a respected group of experienced volunteers within the MROC and allow positive links to be formed and maintained between the Club and Local Authorities, and any other Cat 1 and Cat 2 responders, whilst playing an important role within and as an integral part of the community. The group aims to offer a quick and efficient response to requests for assistance.
Supporting Local Authorities and Emergency services.
MROC 4x4 Response is run by a group of voluntary 4 x 4 vehicle owners who offer their time and their vehicles to Statutory and voluntary agencies to assist in an emergency situation where the use of four wheel drive vehicles are required.
